In 2014, the Iowa Motor Carriers Foundation proudly assumed ownership of the 10,000 square foot IMTA building, a pivotal element in the mission of both organizations. Following the transfer of ownership, a joint board meeting was convened to formulate a strategic plan, recognizing the significance of preserving and investing in the building as a symbol of pride and prominence for the trucking industry.
The Show Trailer is a mobile display designed to promote and celebrate Iowa’s vibrant trucking industry. Fully branded and eye-catching, the trailer serves as a traveling exhibit that showcases the strength, pride, and professionalism of Iowa’s motor carriers. Whether it's stationed at industry events, community fairs, or educational programs, the show trailer offers an up-close look at the essential role trucking plays in everyday life. Inside, visitors can explore interactive displays, learn about careers in trucking, and gain a deeper appreciation for the people and equipment that keep our economy moving.
Year after year, many of the same companies get involved with these unique fundraising events, and their support has continued to help the Foundation establish some valuable revenue streams that are extremely important as the Foundation works to fulfill its mission. The Foundation Board is extremely grateful for the support of the companies that have truly demonstrated their ongoing commitment to advancing the mission of the Iowa Motor Carriers Foundation.
